del 1999 contro la Jugoslavia a Firenze
Sette anni(!) di condanna a testa per
tutti e tredici gli imputati del movimento fiorentino nel processo
per le cariche della polizia sotto il Consolato degli Stati Uniti, in
occasione dello sciopero generale del sindacalismo di base del 13
maggio 1999 contro la guerra della NATO e di D’Alema in Jugoslavia.
Ben oltre le stesse pesantissime richieste del PM (dai 4 ai 5 anni).
Quel giorno il corteo fu caricato duramente sotto il Consolato, con 5
feriti, e ne seguì una giornata di mobilitazione con
l’occupazione della sede dei DS.
A distanza di 9 anni con l’unica
accusa di resistenza aggravata a pubblico ufficiale, vengono
condannati a 7 anni tutti i compagni. L’unica aggravante è,
con lampante evidenza, quella politica; avere manifestato e
continuare a manifestare oggi come ieri contro la guerra, la
repressione, a fianco dei lavoratori, per l’ambiente, per la
giustizia sociale.
E la punizione è infatti collettiva,
rivolta a chi continua a praticare politica, conflitto e
partecipazione. Verso un movimento che a Firenze non si può
ricondurre alle solite compatibilità e che ha saputo esprimere
nelle sue varie forme e componenti una radicalità ed
un’autonomia che evidentemente fanno paura.
Si parla tanto dei vari
allarmi sicurezza, del pericolo immigrati, ma la vera emergenza oggi
è quella democratica. L’emergenza di chi si ritrova sotto
inchiesta e condannato per avere fatto politica, per essersi opposto
alla guerra.
La vera emergenza è la nostra sicurezza: la
sicurezza di non morire sul posto di lavoro, di avere un lavoro vero
ed una casa dignitosa. Ma a questa emergenza si può rispondere
solo con tribunali e condanne esemplari.
Questa sentenza, sia chiaro,
parla a tutti e tutte noi che da anni ci battiamo per un sistema
migliore. Non ci sono spazi per un’opposizione sociale e politica
in questo paese. E non si creda che sono/siamo i soliti cattivi ad
essere condannati. Ad essere condannata è la nostra politica,
ed in questo senso oggi più che mai siamo tutti coinvolti.
Passando dalle condanne di Genova a quelle degli antifascisti di
Milano, da Firenze a Cosenza, dalle 9.000 persone coinvolte in
procedimenti giudiziari dal 2000 ad oggi, alle decine di inchieste
per associazione, di fronte a questa emergenza non ci sono spazi di
ambiguità: bisogna schierarsi e chiaramente a fianco di tutti
i compagni coinvolti in inchieste e processi.
Se la repressione vuole
dividere la solidarietà deve unire. Come realtà
fiorentine esprimiamo la massima solidarietà ai tredici
compagni con la sicurezza che mai verranno lasciati soli e rilanciamo
con forza una mobilitazione cittadina e nazionale contro queste
vergognose sentenze e per tutti gli altri processi.
