Francesco
era uno studente,
aveva 26 anni e negli anni ‘70 studiava Medicina all’Università
di Bologna.

Francesco
era un compagno,
in quegli anni tumultuosi militava in “Lotta Continua” e faceva
politica all’interno della sua università. L’11 marzo 1977
il movimento di Comunione e Liberazione (CL) indisse un assemblea
nell’ateneo bolognese e un gruppo di ragazzi appartenenti alla
sinistra extraparlamentare tra cui Francesco tentò di entrare
nell’aula ma fu violentemente respinto dal servizio d’ordine che
il movimento cattolico aveva organizzato per l’occasione.

La
notizia dell’aggressione si sparse velocemente in città e in
breve tempo moltissimi giovani si radunarono all’esterno
dell’ateneo dando vita ad una rumorosa contestazione.

I
militanti di CL si barricarono nell’aula e con l’approvazione del
rettore chiesero l’intervento dei carabinieri. I militari con una
violenta carica dispersero gli studenti di sinistra per permettere ai
cattolici di terminare la propria assemblea e lasciare l’edificio.
L’intervento violento delle forze dell’ordine fece ulteriormente
salire la tensione e provocò degli scontri di piazza che
dall’università si estesero in tutta la zona circostante.

Durante
gli scontri un automezzo dei carabinieri fu colpito da una molotov
che provocò un piccolo principio di incendio al motore e il
guidatore del veicolo, il carabiniere di leva Massimo Tramontani,
preso dal panico balzò fuori dal blindato ed esplose sei colpi
i direzione di un gruppo di manifestanti.

Francesco
era un ragazzo
,
quel giorno stava lottando per la sua idea di uguaglianza, di libertà
e di amore e per questo fu assassinato da un proiettile sparato nel
mucchio perché la repressione è cieca e colpisce senza
una logica perché il suo obiettivo non è la giustizia
ma l’intimidazione.


Abbiamo
deciso di intitolare la “nostra” stanza a Francesco Lorusso uno
studente, un compagno, un ragazzo come noi; ci auspichiamo che possa
diventare, come lui, un punto di riferimento per chi crede che
bisogna lottare quotidianamente in piazza, sui posti di lavoro e
nell’università per una società più giusta
perché l’idea
di uguaglianza e libertà che ci accomuna sopravvive ad ogni
crimine.
